Disconnect the battery or take out the EFI fuse from under the hood< this one only works sometimes and leave it out for about 5-10 min.

Default Rasp solution

This exhaust setup is LOUD and RASPY! Overall the install was very easy and fitment was perfect....+1 for Raceland on fitment of all their products. I am very satisfied with my purchase because of the quality, fitment and price but I am going to have figure something out for the rasp. On another note....I could not get the damn baffle out ....I honestly think it needs to be cut out someway. We tried all types of methods with no success. Sorry guys. Will upload the video tonight. Any questions holla at me.

Big shout and thanks to "TruvieThug" for getting me a new O2 sensor for a great price and shipped in a couple of days. Without the sensor this install would have not been possible.
Well, knowing that this exhaust gets very raspy when the Header is added, it has been mentioned that resonators should be added. That being said, would you guys just cut out a section of the exhaust piping and add something in there? Anyone got some examples of resonators out there that could be used or are folks going the cheap route and throwing some cherry bombs in there?

I know I want to be running a header in the end but I also don't want to hack up a decent exhaust. Hell, i might just have to deal with the rasp.

well its not really hacking it, more on the lines of improving it,
i like the header and s pipe, and the fact that its mandrel bent is even better,
this with a custom spipe back with resonators, possibly 2 would probably sound decent.

I figured I would go ahead and bump this just for future reference of anyone wanting a Raceland catback.

This was the car apart waiting for the exhaust to come in, I also installed a ZPI S-pipe with this exhaust when I had the car.

Does the catback have a low rumble sound or like a mad bumblebee in a can sound?

I just installed my Raceland Intake this weekend. The material seems pretty good and the fit was great.
I cut open and placed a silicone hose on the opening where the pipe bends down just in case. You can kinda see it in my last picture..
Sounds really mean up high. Here are some pictures..

Oh also by the way the 2.5 AEM bypass valve will not fit this size pipe. I tried and it just would not fit. Going to have to order the 2.75 and sell this one.

So assuming one were to procure the correct size bypass valve, wouldn't it be possible to install it in place of the silicone connector in front of the MAF?

I've read through this entire thread and haven't seen that explicitly stated...

But I feel like it's implied. Hoping so, I'm very inclined to buy this intake and throw on a bypass valve.

Please help!

Yay bringing threads back from the dead!
