^^Haha see I painted mine because I thought I would mess up the sanding some how when polishing and have a bunch on scratches.

i like the painted ones, if i did it myself i knew i would get dust in the paint, it would bubble, or just something that would drive me nuts.

i just pre-occupied myself while the coats of paint were drying, i primed it, use heat-temp gold and put on a clear effex clear coat (sparkly) clear to add some bling but i waited MAD long between coats, like 30-45 minutes

man there are times I wish I had painted instead of polished........the hour a month it takes to keep it mirror clean can wear a person out, expecially in the winter,it is dull again in a week...

the polished one looks great, but i prefer what elcapetan has. thats how i want mine. im just afraid of removing the valve cover and not putting it back on right.

I like the polished look too... it's a little high maintenance, but def worth it...

I might polish mine this weekend... it'll give me something to do indoors if it's raining...

mos def, the cover dose on and comes off very easy. It would be very hard to mess it up. but I've always like polished engine parts, gives it a custom look i think

done mine... almost too easy... I would have taken pics, but I was in a rush to get the valve cover back on so that I could go out for dinner, lol.
