According to the smarter part of the internet (the non-scionlife part) the tc has a magnesium cam cover. Yes, I know that fire plus magnesium equals a fireworks show. I was awake in chemistry.

As long as cam cover = valve cover, you've all been incorrect in this thread (who have said otherwise).

And, I didn't say public schools were bad. I asked if they have really gotten so bad that punctuation is a mystery to people these days.

I thought the valve cover was magnesium at one time, but I also read that it might be aluminum... either way, it can be polished, powdercoated, or painted... it doesn't really matter if it's aluminum or magnesium, all that matters is that it can be modified to look better than stock...

One thing for sure, I'm not lighting it on fire to see what happens!!! LOL...
