its just a lot of people are running 2.5" or more. im in the market of a custom 2.25" at this moment but i might have to put that on hold since im enlisting.

^ bc its common sense, wtf would the point be of a 3" exhaust system on an NA STOCK tc? pointless. even 2.5" is over doing it how tCtCtC said.

why do you think boosted tc's will run 2.5" or bigger? bc they actually need it for more air blowing through the exhaust

A check at the Dezod site and they sell 2.5" for N/A now. IDK about the 2.36" diameter preference. Links would be great to show this. I myself wouldn't go no bigger than 2.5 on N/A.

^^^Nice I think I'm gonna go custom 3" with a Greddy TiC muffler next year's set up; although I love my Greddy Spectrum Elite I think 3" is best for my power goals.

My goals are never low if that's what you're implying. 300+ on STM's Mustang dyno is the goal. I wanna max this motor.

thanks! if your going 3" id go with the Greddy turbo ti-c mine is only the basic one. anyway i've seen a rx7 with 4" exhaust at imports vs domestics it was insane!

Finally got a TRD exhaust. I must say I really missed it.

Sounds so nice! kinda mean, and not like the lil ricer guys around my town.

I tried to make a vid of it but it sounds nothing like it on video :/

^^ I love the TRD too. Best thing I ever did was install the midpipe and spipe. Sounds so much deeper now.
