the only way to "save gas" with one of those would be to save your money and put in in the tank.

What if I won a throttle body spacer from House of Billet from a car show. That is, absolutely no cost to purchase or install (hello? DIY) I know its not going to noticeably increase my power output. But does anyone have any credible dyno results yet? Does it actually decrease my power output? And if it does, whats to say it decreases only as much as people say it increases. Which is to say practically none. Beyond that, does anybody have any MPG figures?

I would definately be willing to guinea pig this as I currently have no engine mods (only struts, coils and sway) and considering I got this part as a prize I mine as well install it and see what it does. The added sound does interest me because of the comparison to an intake. I do not have an intake as of now, but if I like this sound maybe I will consider one. Does anybody have the hob tbs plus a cai only?

yea i had a TB spacer and noticed nothing. i put on a pulley and def noticed power. no way u can notice 2-3 hp anyways. even a temp drop could equal 2-3 hp. and yes it had a whistle but more annoying than anything. and also on the fast scions website it says 5-8 hp with the pulley and 5-8 hp with the pulley. dont understand how it could rand and also the dyno said it gains 7 hp. u prob would have gotten 8 or 9 without the TB spacer on.
