Default Question about aftermarket exhaust install

I have a Tanabe Concept G exhaust and want to install it on my tC.
To take out the old exhaust, what size socket wrench is required?
Is that the only tool needed? I think it's about 5 bolts to remove.
Thanks in advance.

It's only 2 screws, not 100% sure but between 10mm-14mm, and 2 rubber hangers.

Thanks for your reply GreektC. Yeah, I just found out that there are 2 bolts and then the 2 rubber hangers. The rubber hangers are taken off with a plier?

When I changed my exhaust I just did it by hand. It is a PIA to get the old exhaust off though. It's much easier to put the new one on.

Yeah built up rust will do that to you. Just have some WD-40 available and you'll be good to go!

the bolts are 14mm and it has 3 rubber exhaust hangers, just spray wd-40 and it will come off easily, 1 exhaust hanger on each side of the exhaust and 1 before the exhaust flange. the ready wrench that you posted comes with a 14mm socket so you'll be fine with that tool as long as you get some wd-40 as well

^^ that should do the trick. The wd-40 also works well on getting the rubber hangers off much easier. Im not familar with the axle back exhaust configuration for the one you have. Some reuse all the original hangers and some only use one or two of them. If you find yourself in a bind and one does get messed up that you have to reuse... just shoot me a pm. I've got extras from when I did my exhaust as I didnt need to reuse all of them with my Injen SES. If you need it you cover shipping and I'll just send it to you for free.

Appreciate all the input guys. So I will order that tool that I posted to take out that 14mm bolt. Some of you got those rubber pieces off by hand? Mine looked too rusted so I think I'm gonna need a wrench. I did spray on some WD40 before attempting to take out the old exhaust. Hopefully I can do this without a jack. There's a raised platform where I could use and might work.

As for where I bought it from. I bought this a while back and didn't have time to install so it was sittin in my garage and I don't remember. I think I paid about $310? Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Depending on how corroded the 14mm bolts are you might need some hulk strength to get them off with that tool you posted. You may need a breaker bar.

yeah depending on how rusted on the bolts are they could be a PITA but just spray a ton of WD 40 on those hangers and the bolts and stuff and just gonna have to use some man power and break the bolts lose and just rip those hangers off because they deff dont just fall off
