Well, here is the verdict... I give my "secret weapon" an 8 out of 10. Rasp was minimized to damn near inaudible. The ONLY time, and i do mean ONLY time you can hear it is when inside of a tunnel, or right next to a car, (anything that reflects sound loudly) and even then it's pretty hard to hear. I have a vid clip i will post tomorrow when i get to a faster computer, my house is only 56K. The reason i only gave it an 8 out of 10 is because i think people would benefit greatly from two of them. They don't hinder performance at all, Do some research and think about it...

It's the AR2525 resonator, check out the website and watch the vid clips.
The technology resembles weapon r intakes

yup - this is an old topic - i have an 18 and 12inch - my setup sounds great. I would say to get 2 - 16's or 2-18's ... simple as that. Take my advice and you will be happy w/ the result.

i HAVE that exact set up....with a megan mid pipe...it IS a lil raspy...once u lay on it...maybe past 3 grand...but its really not bad

Awesome! Good find Now we need to hear/see clips of it in action, 84 bucks is not bad at all, and if it sounds decent I'll get one for my magnaflow before I have the exhaust shop do the finalized weld on it. Watchin 0.0

Sorry, it just happens to be a VERY good quality resonator and very efficient, it's only 12" and works better than my 18" resonator did. It is unlike most resonators in the way it is built so i was a little sceptacle. There is absolutley zero performance loss, where my 18" resonator caused so much back pressure that above 4K, my car would start to buck from the gas feeding back into the valves.

If you wanna get technical, ANYTHING that attenuates sound is a resonator. So even a muffler is a resonator, just a different type.

^^^nevermind dumb question i just did some research on it, i did have a question tho, would two resonators restrict performance ? and how would that fit that would be like almost 30" of resonator....

No restriction of performance whatsoever with one (butt dyno), so i'm guessing two would be a similar effect. Vids coming in a couple minutes

Thats what i'm gonna try 2 18" body's, I my self hope tcizzler's secret weapon works in case the 2 18's dont...

crap completely did not see the 2nd page! lol
sounds good tcizzler!
I also did not know perforated resonators cause back pressure!

I might have to get a whole custom exhaust with two 2525's

Neither did i! I personally think the guy put on a silencer type muffler and called it a resonator. I asked him about 3 times and he swore up and down that it was a straight through resonator. Still not sure if i believe him. I hated it so bad that he took it off and gave me some money back(I never got to see) , and thats when i found the AR2525.

A little DISCLAIMER on my part!

This is VERY true, nothing i have ever tried or heard has ever TOTALLY eliminated the rasp. Just severely reduced the volume of the rasp, and in my opinion this product worked the best for ME and may work different with different set ups. I just thought i'd throw it out there as an option, definately not the one and only best product ever for everyone

Doesn't the megan mid pipe come with a resonator built in?
Does that reduce rasp at all?
