only way to advance timing is by using a FULL standalone like an AEM unit... even then the timing varies.. thats why its variable valve timing // vvt. if u got piggy back all u can do is retard it...

this isnt like older cars were your rotate the distributor to advance timing man...

what do you think camcom does?
download the AEM EMS Software and go to the VVC control

AEM EMS features haven't been fully discussed here so I didn't know about it being able to advance timing. And Camcon has been mostly hit and miss with it's settings and only adjusts overall ignition timing...not valve timing.

camcom is a joke... unstable, and the ECU fights the timing regardless... so thats 300 bucks out the window for a little gadget that shows a bunch of numbers for nothing...

i am fully aware of the AEM software for the standalone unit..THATS WHY I JUST SAID IT!!! READ ABOVE.. HELLO!...but who is going to throw away 1200-1700 bucks for 10-15 whp.. yea ok..
