Default Redline Water Wetter?

Anyone use Redline Water Wetter on their tC? I heard that it can make some coolants turn into slime (depending on the type of coolant). I want to make sure people have used it successfully on a tC. I have a bottle left over from my old nissan.

I used it in my liquid intercooler with (1) Toyota Radiator Fluid (50%), Water (50%) and in (2) Prestone Orange-GM (50%), Water (50%). I checked the liquids after 10,XXX miles and the liquid appeared to look exactly the same. No slime for my vehicle. Hope it helps

It does not deliver the heat transfer benefits that Redline advertises, but it works very well as an anti-corrosion additive in very small amounts. It is nothing more than sudsless soap. Not really needed in new cars with modern coolant. However if you're driving a race car or if you live in a very hot area you can use much less coolant, or just pure water. An ounce or two of WW is all you need.
