What I am wondering is what would it sound like if you added a muffler instead of a resonator? I found this...
HP-2 MUFFLER

I am wondering if this would have more of an affect over the resonator?

I bought 2 vibrant resonators from NGAmotorsports and got an awesome price. I havent instlled them yet as i havent had time or time to put my header/s-pipe on yet. I will let you know the outcome when all is said and done. But if you want vibrant resonators PM NGAmotorsports!

did anyone lose any back pressure for have their resonators eat up most of the midpipe?

i have a 30 inch glass pack and it worked miracles... took down almost all of the rasp, and totally did away with that high pitched metal grinding sound

the only thing keeping me from getting glasspacked resonators is that they seem to burn out over time. well, from what i hear on these forums anyway. some of the people running 30" magnaflow resonators say it worked really well at first but over a year or so it lost its effectiveness and became louder.

sorry to bring this back from the dead.

I have the dezod n/a catback and want to get it a bit quieter ( i have a lot of old neighbors), I also have a cai. I have been looking at vibrant ultra quiet resonator or the aero ar25. Does anyone have any experiences with them? I have a unknown crappy 18' resonator and it seems like it is wearing out. I just googled some reviews on them

the dezod is 2.35 piping, do you guys think these two would fit it? http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...products_id=45
or

i have a 24" magnaflow and i just ordered my 14" aero

i will do a before after shoot.

i really wonder that after a while these resonators stop keeping the noise down so we need to buy them every other year or so. My exhaust farts like a honda.... ( it wasnt perfect before since i have header but it wasnt this bad)

a lot of people say the fiber glass burns out in the magnaflow resonators.

i used to have a cherry bomb mounted right before the outlet of my exhaust on my old car (was a v6) and it made the exhaust note so much smoother...I wonder if moving it further back from the header would help in quieting and eliminating rasp
