I've been getting a loud squealing noise when reversing and turning, most pronounced when turning my wheels to the right. I just replaced the serpentine and still no resolve. I felt a little bit more friction than usual in my alternator pulley but I dont think that's the case. any ideas?

 

when was the last time you did your brakes?

 

Must have been done before I got the car ~ 25k miles ago. Still about 1/4" of meat left on the pads, though it wouldn't hurt to replace them..

Do you really think it could be the brakes?
