Default Scangauge A/F Ratio Code

I have been keeping an eye out for this(checking the x-gauge codes), they now have a x-gauge for A/F ratio. After I put the codes in and started the car I got a 14.9, this settled to a 14 at idle, and changed according to throttle position. I know these don't update instantly, but it's probably quick enough to monitor for highs and lows.
What I'm wondering though is how accurate these numbers are compared to a wideband. I know the info is coming from the ODB port but what feeds that? Does anyone have both the SG2 and a A/F gauge want to test this out to see how the two compare? BTW the codes are at

I used the CANSF Alternate A/F Ratio (general)

It is receiving its feed from the primary O2 sensor which is wideband. I know I need a new wideband sensor so if I were to go out and tell you what mine is reading it would read .5 to 1.0 off.

Oh and it isn't CANSF Alternate A/F Ratio (general), that doesn't give any reading at all. It is A/F Ratio (bank 1, sensor 1)

I just went out and tested it and for N/A use it seems to work fine but at WOT I should read 11.5 and the scangauge never reads that rich.

Just cruising i'm around 14.5 where I should be.

I was questioning the code I used because there are a few, but I did use the general and got results like I said. Are you sure you entered the code right? I am definately getting feedback, at wot I got a 10.4(s/c with 9.5 pulley).

I am positive CANSF Alternate A/F Ratio (general) 686AF10144 04410544 2808 05B900800000 does not work.
CANSF A/F Ratio (bank 1, sensor 1) 686AF10124 04410524 2808 05B900800000 does.

Yes, there are quite a few and while I didn't try them all I did try the two aforementioned and one works while the other does not.

i'll have to check my dyno sheets from my pulls, but i never go below a 11.x on my a/f guage or on my dyno sheets. sounds kinda rich.

Kinda isn't the word, the car might as well be drinking fuel.
However, if that's your reading on the scangauge it cannot be taken to be 100% accurate.

I have noticed my mileage has dropped recently, but it could be the fact that I hit boost it once in a while. With the 9.5lb pulley it should be leaning out the ecu reflash correct? Or it could just be the accuracy of the sg. Also, it looks like this has been out for some time(or for different vehicles at least).

nice vid, it looks to my that scangauge can be accurate as long as you O2 sensor can read the afr well.. for the tc the O2 sensor is not so wide.. so prolly afrs richer than 12 its not accurate anymore.. thats a mazda speed though prolly turbocharged from factory they put a widerband O2 than the tc
