Default ScionSpeed Stage 2 Turbo FINALLY Installed!

Hey guys i brought my car to Jamasco (Scionspeed) to install my Scionspeed stage 2 turbo this past thursday. I called today to check up on the status on the install and the guy (Alexi) told me the car should be ready to pick up by 6-7pm tonight. I decided not to install the gauges/boost controller over there because they seemed to take a very long time getting stuff done, so i will most likely take it to a local shop called Lujan Motorsports either tommorrow or friday. Unfortunately i dont have a digital camera, but Ill try to borrow my friends ASAP so i could post some pics. Has anyone else gotten their kit or am i the first customer to get the kit installed?

Well as of now and as far as I can tell, there are two ZPI customers with ZPI turbos and one ScionSpeed customer with one ScionSpeed turbo.

You know what would be funny? A ZPI customer with a ScionSpeed turbo.

Anyways, it would seem that there are two companies "on the ball" although I would have to say the only company that's really on any form of a really good ball would be Dezod with their constant updates.

just because a company doesn't post 10 times a day on an online doesn't mean they're not on the ball. Im not defending ZPI or scionspeed, but i know personally that ZPI has some new stuff up their sleeves, that no other company is even thinking about, and they're being smart on not posting about it on here daily until it's completed... just wait kids. just wait.

I just got home from a night of racing and wow i love this kit. The sound of the blow off valve is enuff to make me soil my pants. However, i did encounter a major problem with the car, and was wondering if anyone knowledgeable could pinpoint what the problem could be? On three different ocassions, all at speeds of 25mph and slower my car just shut off and the wheel locked leaving me with no control of the car. This is quite a scary feeling and i need to find out what it is ASAP. The only thing i could think of is that im still running a stock exhaust which I know doesnt allow the release of proper air flow. Could this lack of air flow cause my car to just shut down as a defense mechanism? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I will post pics 2marrow afternoon, however since i dont have a digital camera they will be very blurry.

Sounds like your running lean, but that doesn't explain why the wheel is locking. If the engine turns off the wheel shouldn't lock as long as the car is in the on position. Anyone else have anything to add?
