yeah changing the spark plugs is completely pointless and a waste of money, just take it easy and enjoy the ride instead of shifting at high rpm's.

sounds like ur not getting out of the clutch completely before getting on the gas again. and i believe ur above our powerband at that high of a rpm, which makes it pointless, i usually shift at about 5500 or so when getting up to highway speeds, and i have 0 problems, and the car pulls just fine.

um max power comes at 6000 according to the scion website...but yet revving your car all the time is bad. But is semi-necessary as we have a 4 cyl

i have an 07 as well, thats all it is has nothing to do with the clutch or shiftin at redline. i shift just after redline and dont have problems. ur just releasing the clutch too quickly. its like if u shift into a gear and just release the clutch no gas its gonna do the same thing.

I have an 05 tC and I have had it happen a few times when I hit redline, the fuel just stops for a bit then it lets me have control again. It was the weirdest feeling. Then my friend hit the rev limiter and the needle bounced. I don't get how it has always just shut off the fuel on me and not on him.
