the injen cai can be converted to SRI if you got that.. you have to watch out for huge puddles with the cold air though but I guess you wont really have to worry about that in the summer.. either way ive heard its a very slim chance of getting water on the filter anyway

Injen is nice but don't waste money unless you really really want an Injen sticker to put on your window. Go with the HPS. You won't be disappointed. As far as water getting to the filter, almost impossible on the CAI setup due to the plastic guards under the car and sealed off front end area where the filter ends up. I drove mine through a hurricane like that and not a drop got near the filter. Just my two cents.

hmm..its funny how ya keep talking about buying cheap parts vs quality parts. Injen has proven time and time again to be one of the best intakes on the market. Despite that intakes in general dont provide much of any performance, it all comes down to the look and sound. However reliability..there are chances that the ebay brands you people buy could have problems compared to a name brands which has resources to make quality parts. For example, ebay brands could have metal shavings in the piping, faulty sensor outlet, poor fitment, and so etc. It really comes down to you. Ask yourself whether your stock intake cost under 200 and whether your stock intake has better quality then your ebay brand..otherwise your basically just downgrading.

I wasnt targeting anyone specific. I was just explaining how I found it funny and why it was funny to me that people would buy non-quality or ebay branded parts in general.

i couldn't agree more. i'm buying mine because it's a helluva deal. other people sacrifice quality by going cheap. i'm one of the cheapest people out there and i even know the quality behind spending a little extra.

I would buy the used AEM for 90 before an HPS but I've owned an HPS and can vouch for the quality of parts, fitment, and value. Just read my prior posts.
