Default Slight on/off clunking noise..

I have a 2006 Tc, has 100k on it. Anyways there is a slight clunking noise at idle that I have noticed. When I turn the ac on it goes away, when I turn it off the noise re appears? It only makes the noise when the car is fully warmed up. I thinking its the ac unit??

You need to provide more info man...

like the mods you have on your car.

what speeds do you drive and hear it at?
tires, tire size, suspension, etc.

can we get a sound clip and/or video clip as well trying to capture the noise?

Sure thing. 2006 Scion Tc with 100k on it. Bone stock.

The noise I can only hear at idle, when I'm driving can't hear anything and the car pulls strong.

Doesn't make the noise from a cold start, only when the car is fully warmed up. Like I said, I'm thinking its the ac uint or the water pump? but my temp is fine and never gets close to overheating.

There is a bracket that connects your intake to the frame. It shoud be right behind the battery and to the right of the starter. It's made from very cheap metal and usually breaks over time. I went through two on these brackets and I finally just removed it and no more noise. Could be that. Hope this helps.

Yeah mine is broken as well. Happen to both my tc's but I mounted it and it doesn't move now. The noise is coming from the passenger side tho. I believe its either the AC or the Water pump. Cause it goes away when I turn the ac on.
