the shift point in the 05 and 06 tC is 6250 - this is not debatable, it is a FACT that at WOT it shifts at 6250

and it only makes the car slightly faster off the line if you still have traction. I have tried launching both ways and have seen little difference in results. Once again, this is a tested result.

Also, shifting manually will make the AT shift slower. The computer knows the EXACT shift points where to shift, and the AT will indeed shift at redline in all gears assuming you are at WOT - this is also not debatable. Fact.

It doesnt always slip, just sometimes. Its most likely too much power but I think with a window switch it'll help out a little bit since there wont be full power at the point of shift. I'll just adjust the RPM until I reach my desired operation. If that doesnt help then so be it. Im also not getting a window switch just for this. I like to be able to launch off the line without worrying about a nitrous backfire so I'll be glad to have things back to normal there.

a progressive controller would be better for your shifting problems as that can adjust how much nitrous is injected based on gear and rpm, but a window switch is just a binary control that activates and deactivates based on 2 rpm levels. are you thinking setting the window switch to stop the nitrous RIGHT below the shift level? ~6250 rpm?

if so, that could work... but probably not as it will slow your car down more if you stop nitrous and start again during a run... good luck though!!!

I'll look into the progressive controller. That would be nice to have.
