yes the NGK Laser Iridium is the stock plug, it has a larger center electrode and it's also coated with platinum on the side electrode, center is iridium. It lasts much longer than the thinner IX plug.

no you do not need to change the coil packs at all. Just remove one at a time when you do the plug, then re-install it and move onto the next plug.

Make sure to disconnect the battery before you do this work. and yes it's a very easy change. Took about 30 minutes total. If you go really slow about an hour. But you'll save a lot of $$$ from the dealer. Oh and make sure the car is COLD before you remove the plug. Aluminum heads are not that strong and taking a plug out when it's HOT could cause problems.

and I'd go with the NGK Laser Iridium plugs. That's the exact plug that is in there from the factory. Some tc's came with NGK and some came with Denso. I personally like NGK a lot better.

EDIT: If you haven't gotten yourself a spark plug socket, get one. It's not a normal socket, it has a rubber sleeve inside to hold and protect the ceramic neck of the spark plug.
