SS ? for the DD
Hey im a daily driver and for my next mod i was looking into a SS. I did my research and read about the different types of SS (TWM, B&M, DocIso) and i am not sure which to buy. And if it is worth buying.
Mainly i am looking into the TWM and the DocIso. If i were to get the DocIso i would get the the 2'' drop. For you daily drivers is the TWM 2.5" drop too low for you, or does it just take some time getting used too.
So basically my question should i get a TWM stage 2, a DocIso 2.0", or no SS at all.
Thanks.

You may want to keep an eye on this thread and take a close look at the NST SSK before making your decision...

I LOVE my Dr. Isotope Gear Switcher - I got the 1" drop with a "waisted" style shift ****. The **** had a grat smooth top for casual driving and the "waist" provides great grip for "spirited" driving. It has a nice, crisp feel as it comes with bushings to put on you shifter cables where they connect to the actual shifter on the transmission.
It seems to require no more force or effort over the factory shifter and it feels extremely smooth with marine grease on the "ball" (fulcrum).
Cost me $35 for the **** I bought when I had my factory shifter, and $95 more (after core refund) for the SS itself.

i have the TWM stage 2 and it's great...didn't take any time getting use to it at all...but personally, i would go doc isotope...if his was out already when i got mine, i would have gotten that instead...it's a lot cheaper and shorter throw

I got Dr.Isotope with 2.5 drop. Tc is my dayly driver and short shifter makes my driving even more fun. It feels different at first but like after one or two weeks you'll forget how stock shifter feels like and you'll be thinking that stock shifter is a weird looking. Get dr.isotope premium with cable bushings and if you unsure about drop get 2" but dont go over 2.5". Good luck.
