is there a stand alone EMS available for the tC yet?
is it possible to use the AEM EMS?


i am very interested in one and would rather get it instead of a piggyback setup like the Camcon or GReddy Emanage.

 

you would be better off asking in the power hungry forum. Im sure the AEM system can be used for our car....but I wouldnt want to wire it

i thought GReddy Emanage Ultimate was a piggyback system.


i checked AEM forums and found a post by Joe@Dezod asking about an AEM Stand Alone EMS for the tC, but nobody posted any response.

Greddy Emanage is a piggy back...As of right now, I dont think that the EMS standalone is compatible w/ any of our ECU's...Im still waiting for one to come out for my car, but am sure you guys will get one before us

 

BTW...a stand aone isnt the easiest thing to put in your car...you gotta pretty much rewire the whole vehicle...its not just plug and play unless specifically designed to be.

 

yea i understand. although wiring won't be a big problem (i have a couple friends that will be able to do this for me), i was hoping AEM would release a plug and play for the tC.
