What do you think - should I run a restrictor (biggest one I can find) on a journal bearing turbo? I know most people don't do it - but I figure since the seals are only designed for up to 30psi, yet even though they can hold more, I rather play it safe.
We didn't use on my friend's Garrett T04E 57trim in his 'Teg - but he hardly got on the car at all.

I say its safe especially if you are an aggressive driver and your oil pressure is always on the high side.. there are bigger oil restrictors designed for non ballbearing so just get those

A 0.60 orifice is common for t3/t4 or non BB, try this link
