Does anyone have the TRD clutch or ACT clutch? I really can't stand how soft the tC's clutch is. I have never drove a car with a clutch that soft.

I drove around a '03 mach 1 mustang pretty much all weekend, and then got in my car and I seriously thought there was something wrong with the clutch. I understand these are completely different cars, but it seems like with a stiffer clutch I can drive alot better.

Anyone else sick of the soft clutch?

 

i agree all the way. my friend has a xB that has the TRD clutch in it and i loved the feel of it. mines gonna be on in the winter.

 

hahah, after driving in my brother's accord for a couple of mins, I got back into my tc, and thought that something broke as soon as I step on the clutch, hahaha...funny s hit..couldnt agree with you more on the clutch, but hey sometimes having a soft clutch really helps, especially if you've been on your feet all day long.

 

before my scion i drove an 86 gti. it took 3 small children to get that clutch to the floor. on the tC even if you rest your foot on the clutch ever so lightly the thing moves, i couldve placed a brick lying on the VWs clutch and it wouldnt have budged. I love that car, especially the lack of power steering and ABS. so fun to drive.

 

just be glad its not as soft has a honda... civics can be horrible.
