Street Stealth Concepts, Inc. Scion tC Intake Manifold

not quite THAT lean, but enough to negatively affect power. Reliable, consistent power comes from balanced and consistent air charges being delivered into the engine. If you notice, many straight engines, mainly straight 6/8's that are running an end plate throttle body will have progressively shorter runners the farther you get away from the throttle body, thats the big reason for it. Equal air flow

Oh, a heads up for ya. We have had some major sealing issues witha few weapon r parts, biggest one was a header for an exige s that required milling the head flange .040" or .060" to get it to seal, dont recall exactly but that was out of the box.
Just a heads up for ya.

I do not believe there will be much gains from this worth the $850 for the regular tC. for boosted tc's, its still pretty much useless as air is being forced in anyways. (i know from experience about this). i did a IM swap on my boosted RSX, gained about 10hp in the topend, but lost 9-10 in the low. this mod benefits the hardcore n/a folks.
to really utilize this, you would need aftermarket cams and a bigger TB and tuning. dont forget PnP the head as well.
install would be biscuit too. dont know how one would reach back there. also, why not make a plastic IM gasket to reduce the heat emitting off the aluminum IM to the head? this has shown very effective on Honda's with aluminum IM's. Hondata.com has an example of the intake manifold gasket.
lets say 10-15whp untuned. still worth the $850? the HP/dollar still isnt justified for your average tC owner. granted its a nice piece and well-engineered, but i've seen developments like this crash and burn due to little demand.
most folks are in it just to see the numbers, but few will buy. i'm sure SSC understands this.

I like your use of velocity stacks, obviously you understand flow and scavenging effects, etc. etc., and I haven't read the full thread but I imagine somewhere down the line you saw the importance of maybe tapering the plenum. . . ? I don't know enough about the 2azfe head to say for sure but I know most 4 cyl all motor heads benefit from this, neon, rsx, etc.
Best of luck to you!
