only been a few days since some of them have had it installed, give it time.
MD owners should be posting the MPG's here shortly

yea, i just wonder how a supercharger does on long trips and if when its in 5th gear say on the expressway, if it puts much stress on it, it would seem it would be fully wound up and put more stress on it and cause it to run hot. I wouldnt wanna get it and hurt it going on trips haha. wonder if the ECU flash has anything to do with that, and to know to not wind up as much, but from what i've read, they all said it pulls hard at higher rpms..i just hope somebody local gets it in and i can drive it or at least go for a ride. im ANXIOUS.

if your on a long trip crusing, you will be under 3k rms, so you will be in no - low boost, its not like ur gonna be runing at 3.5k, so i would assume it would be fine. scion-ce correct me if i am wrong

Well the car tachs around 4k at 80MPH so youd defenitely be getting into the boost around there. In know I spend a lot of time around 90-100 on Vegas runs and thats a 3-4 hour drive.

Since it all depends on the dealership and salesman, you think we can use TFS to get the S/C?

I know i don't have the money to pay in full and im sure im not the only one. I'll probably ask my dealership when i go in for my car's first oil change. It's only been a month and some change and im at 2200k already :o

mmm, i don't think the guys from md will have good MPG cause they'll be so busy ripping the boost

Ok guys...here is the deal. I will be the first to empty a tank of 93 on the s/c. I'm almost out, so I'll post mpg in a day or 2. Based on previous gas mileage, I can say that it has driopped alittle bit. But here is the thing...this is the FIRST tank with the supercharger. I was driving the crap out of it. OF COURSE I DID. who wouldn't? So I believe that is a factor. Anyone who just gets the s/c is gonna drive the crap out of it the first few weeks. Who could blame them. ITS FUN AS HELL!!! From my observation, you can't really FEEL the boost until about 3k rpm. So if you are cruising at 3-4k rpm, like BreakAway said, you should be in no-little boost. It should be fine. Forged internals BABY!!! the 2AZ-FE can take it.

As said before, I will post MPG in a day or two, but keep in mind it might be alittle low because I had alotta fun with it this weekend

If you already have your tC... no. You can't add anything to the TFS loan you have. This would only be when someone purchases.

Ok I should have MPG for the supercharger either tonight or tomorrow morning. Keep in mind that I really drove the hell out of it. Alot of high rpm driving. Had to break her in the REAL way. Let the ECU learn my driving style. I will post as soon as possible

Our TRD supercharger kit already has a bypass valve.

lol..it's probably the same valve. I think bosch makes all of the bypass valves.

You are correct. I believe the bypass valve with the supercharger is made by Bosch

Anyone dare take the "horn" out and see if there are any performance increases and/or problems?

I was wondering about that, too. sounds like a baffle of some sort to me. gains might be found in removing it.
