would you be able to swap the MAF sensor from an 06 tC to the 07 tC or will you need swap the whole intake?

Maybe, Wire diagram would be good on this. Try to see if they match. But maybe the 07 MAF is better than the 06.

you probably wouldnt be able to because the differences most likely go all the way to the ECU

True, but do you have an 06 MAF laying around. Maybe compare the MAFs wires.

That's why I said using a wire diagram, to see if all the wires are there, but just have different colors. I think not much has changed. Also, remember if u do this, and screw this off, no warranty for u.

^^ true swapping would be definate voidage of your warranty. also to the OP, why would you want to switch MAF? aftermarket intake?

yeah, i'm one of those newbies who bought an aftermarket intake but didn't realize because i didn't do my research that they changed the MAF sensor on the 07. so now, i'm stuck with an INJEN 05-06 CAI but i have the 07 tC.

Another question, you think it'll be safe for me to a welding place to have them make a new weld for the MAF sensor? you think it'll work or that's a big NONO!?

yeah that would be true, but i did asked them and they said that there policy is 14 day return/exchange plus 25% restocking fee but since i am 2 days late, i wouldn't be able to send it back to them.

just sell it on ebay for a small loss, and get a new 07 intake. 25% restocking fee is crazy, lol.
