how much power sould i shoot for with my A/T i about to put my turbo on this weekend and head to ptuning whats the safest amount of power should i go for un till i send out my valve body

I tested the auto tranny, heard 250 whp was the limit on it. Made 261 whp with a 16g and in 3 days it started slipping really really bad. In about a month it would require letting off the gas to shift into any gear and it would not shift into 4 or 5th gears. Then if I drove it for longer than 20 mins at a time it would reach to about 275 degrees and not do anything. I wouldnt go past 220-230
