it's cheaper probably because it's made in taiwan. labor there is much cheaper than japan. personally i didn't want to waste money on an axleback so i went with the catback i liked most, which was the drift spec.

No doubt. The Megan sounds like an angry predator. The quoted hp gains also made it attractive. It's the longevity that turned me away from Megan.
The wool used in the Megan mufflers isn't as long lasting or as sound dampening as the Advantex used in Tanabe mufflers. After the wool starts to break down the Megans just get louder and louder. That might be what you're looking for though.
Megan also has fitment problems when it comes to the s-pipe and mid-pipe. A lot of Megan buyers are having to grind the flanges on their Megan pipes to get a flush proper fitment that looks trick.
To each their own of course. I just wanted other Tanabe buyer candidates to have something they could listen to and make an informed decision.

Second video was alright but that first one sucked! Learn how to rev dude! lol jk but still. Im sure you coulda made a better vid than that. Should be quick revs. Short to long. Maybe one slow long one would be ok but thats not where you hear the most.

I just ordered Tanabe Concept G from ShowStopper USA.
I'm excited!!!
Anyway mix300, do you have pix of that hanger part that you used a clamp to lower it? I'm worried about the burning bumper so I also wanna lower it down lil bit.

the melted bumper was cause of a slanted tip not cause of the tanabe...that pic was after the install
