yea,
in hindsight however I think I shouldve sprung for the touring medallion, because it looks more stock.
I like oem looking exhausts as opposed to canister style. people will notice the canister exhaust more so than oem, which may get the wrong attention regardless of it being quiet or not.

True dat.
I'm heading down to SoCal for college, and after the stories of the recent surge of police activity regarding tuners in SoCal, I'm even thinking about selling/trading my Concept G for the TRD exhaust. I'm still undecided though. I wanna see how the whole deal down there plays out until I decide to do anything.

I am deciding to get the medalion touring what is the main difference from each of them. Most things I have read say that the touring is quiter. But I have not heard any thing performance wise doubt there is much but that is why I am asking.

If you're not looking for performance and just wanted a slight growl over stock, TRD should've been your exhaust.
If it is too expensive, save up longer, haha.
TRD is like stock with nut, and basically all can-style are just the opposite of stock. Loud. My Injen SES is supposed to be pretty quiet, but the first time I heard my car pull off when my friend took it for a spin it sounded mean as hell, and loud.
When I had my auto tC I had a custom exhaust setup on it with a can and it sounded like crap so I see where you're coming from. Autos with loud exhausts are very cheesy and sound silly.
Live and learn... sell your concept g and grab yourself a TRD. Still lighter than stock, and a sound you're looking for.
I was speeding along side of a ford astro van and a toyota corolla, and the cop snagged me because my car was louder. You already got the exterior looking sport and eyecatching, with too loud of an exhaust you're a cop magnet.
My $.02
