Default Are there any headers that does not cause CEL?

Any racing headers out there that does not cause CEL? without adding the anti fouler.

Also, if you add the anti fouler on, does it effect the CEL's detection for? I.e if there are some problem with the car, will the CEL light come back? Like does it eliminate the CEL detection for good?

any header will throw a CEL unless you use an antifouler

and if the antifouler is working properly (or you didn't somehow damage your o2 sensor when installing the header... ) you shouldn't throw a CEL

Well, if I use an antifouler, will it effect the detection for actual problems? Like say I have a major air leak, will the CEL light up or will the antifouler blocks the CEL light from coming on?

thx guys

No. All aftermarket headers remove the cat in the header... which is what causes the CEL.

That CEL basically says that the primary cat is not doing its job (aka missing in this case). Suppressing it does not suppress any other codes from setting, so the system will still monitor properly.

if you have a leak of any kind the last thing you should be worried about is throwing a CEL

all the antifouler does is shutoff the CEL caused by removing the catalytic converter..it does not do anything else
