Yea...delay in drive by wire sucks...I went to my dealership's service center and told them my tC had a lag and after a very short road test they determined nothing was wrong

go to hifisoundconnection.com. get 15feet of stinger 4gauge power wire, get 16 ring terminal connectors, and that's it. pick grounding points, if u want, use the groundfusion points, measure them out, cut them, and then install them. cost-15ft of wire @ $1.25 per ft=$18.75 4 packs of stinger ring terminals @ $1.65 each=$6.60 add shipping and u're looking at about $30-$35.

15' should be more than enough. u're probably gonna use about 12-13' actually. 15 is just to be safe incase something gets messed up or whatever. i don't really see what could get messed up, but why not get the extra 2 or 3' in case-it's only gonna cost like $4 more. also, home depot definitely has connectors-go to the electrical department. the only issue with doing this install yourself is the crimping. 4gauge wire is pretty thick and u're not gonna find a crimping tool for it very easily. u're either gonna have to use a vice or set of pliers unless u can find an industrial sized crimper that'll let u crimp 4 gauge.

I'm real interested in this kit by groundfusion or the do it yourself mod, can anybody thorougly explain how to hook these things up and what it's for, i just hear 15' blah blah blah and stuff, I'm pretty sure on what to get from Ace Hardware now, but what do i do after that

Do a search, people...
Its written for an xA but it is such a good tutorial you should be able to use the info for a tC too.

you need to be able to crimp, and losen. tighten bolts. the ground points are posted in this thread, and the materials needed are posted in this thread. if you can't figure it out from that, you probably shouldn't be messing with the electrical components of your car

i just did the install yesterday with the stuff i bought from hifisound. only difference, i used platinum terminals from stinger so it was a lil more expensive. i'll try and take some pics for u guys this weekend. i have a pivot raizin grounding kit with voltage stabilizer, but the groundfusion points are different for whatever reason. other than battery to chasis, none of the other ones are the same. the pivot kit grounded the throttle, intake manifold, and some other things-can't remember-did those like 3 months ago and my short and long term memory are kinda shot. i have to finish the install-i have the weapon r cold air box and greddy catch tank installed, so it was too annoying to remove that stuff yesterday-my time was limited. when i finish the install-the last 2 wires, i'll take pics of the whole thing.
