let me repeat that. it's valve, a part of the engine, that i would assume needs to run.

Most likely its your injectors. They're that loud...trust me.

My K&N did that, and it turned out that the bracket behind the fender was loose.

I just installed mine last saturday and I hear the same thing, even inside the car. It dosen't appear to be coming from the intake itself, as the sound sorta eminates from somewhere near the firewall and not the fender where the filter is. I guess all the plastic and rubber from the oem intake kinda muffled the noise before.

if it was installed by the dealer no. otherwise it won't void unless the dealer can prove that IT specifically cause the problem, otherwise you can so them, know your rights.

that's what would be ticking sometimes, it's part of the AC system, yes it is annoying, but it's not like you can take it off and expect the car to be fine without it, so just deal.

that AC system could be mildely tapping the intake so you might try some type rubber around the intake next to the AC so it doesnt tap it and make that noise you cant stand.

I have the same noise, it just recently started, I drove around for months and never had that noise, don't know why I have it now, I just ignore it now.
