autos are better from drag racing in serious levels because theyre FAR more consistent than manuals actually. Thing is though, manuals are good for racing (at the tC level), but sometimes you'd like to have an auto so no shifting in traffic. Why not have the best of both worlds?

Thats my .02

Did my info help ya out matty?

Why do people buy dark colored cars like BSP? Lighter colored cars like SW and SSM are so much easier to keep clean, and scratches dont show as well...................................

Hey Matt how much will the Torque Converter cost? I think level 10 sells them for about 1k is that an accurate price?
for my previous platform (3rd gen eclipse) it was a little less than half that

stay on topic otherwise this post will be split and those who are going off will be warned and have their posts deleted.

stay on topic of if you can help Matty here or not. All posts should pertain to getting him the part number, getting him a spare, or if you have interest or questions about it!

Thanks!!

here's where it stands:

Ok, for your car it isnt a problem so to speak, there are 11 variations of
your converter threw different model changes but there are 2 main
derivatives makeing it alot easier, so i have to have a picture of one of
your actual units to compare to my units I built to make sure they are the
same.

As far as the xA and xB they will actualy have to have a core sent to me and
do it on an exhange basis as they use an almost unique converter, but also a
picture could help me out there just to make sure, scrap yard time, or
somone that has blown or is building a motor could send me some nice close
up high res pics

Thx for the help

Ian

I need pictures of a tC's torque converter. high res, close up shots. Any help? I cannot find a tC's torque converter in salvage yards anywhere

The xA xB crowd may actually end up being a ship it, get it built up, have it shipped back kind of thing. Unless he gets a few in there and has core charges and such.

yeah i found an auto for $500 but i can't get the place to respond. not really a good sign.

plus it would be better with just a torque converter not the whole transmission
