I have a short throw so it did tighten up a bit, but still very smooth in comparison to stock throws.

I know you linked it in another thread, but can you provide the place of purchase link here.

thanks in advance, buying some today.

http://www.synlubes.com/redline/gearoil.html

Make sure you order MT-90 and NOT MTL. 8.95$ a quart is a pretty good price for it too. If you just go to www.synlubes.com, then you can put your zip code in and find a dealer near your house.

It should. You might have to allow your Active X feature on your browser. Turn you pop ups off. Then try. It works when I click it. Just try to type it in.

they have a pumpat dealeers that is much faster than the way you'd do it at home... he doesn't want some of your mt90 going into someone with a 88 corollas tranny and be too heavy for their gears... which is BS about it being enough in there to make a $hit but thats what he's going to tell you

new problem so i tried to change my own tranny fluid so i dissconnected the reverse light adapter, and then i tried to move the bracket but it was rusted so i couldn't get it off. So i decided to put back the adapter, and go change my tranny fluid at a shop. but I couldn't find someone to do it. Then this morning i started my car, and i saw the cel light go on. Whats going on? I got an intake i stalled like about 1k miles ago nothing ever happened. i checked the intake everything was in place and tight. Help me!

When I 1st test drove the tC I knew it needed some good honey in the gear box, along with bushing upgrade.

The 1st thing I did on her was drain the cooking oil (Factory Gear Oil) and replaced with Golden Honey (Redline MT-90). Then I placed an order for some soild brass bushings from this awesome company www.speed-source.net. After installing the bushings and the g-oil I noticed a huge difference and every shift was perfect. In time an mileage it has just got smoother and smoother.

I suggest to make this switch since it makes a big difference , it doesn't cost much and can be considered as preventing problems in the future.

I change my gear oil at 30k. Also, I clean and re-lube my brass bushings every 15k, since they get dirty way down there. You don't have to do this maintanance at this mileage if you don't want to, since I do this because I like to.

Did you disconnect the socket from the reverse indicator before disconnecting the battery? This will throw the CEL off. If not, try to make sure all the plugs are back in place and tight and disconnect the battery for about 5-10 minutes. This will reset your ECU. Let it idle for about 5 minutes and then drive it around for about 30 minutes. All should be fixed and if not, something must have been damaged on the reverse indicator when you took it out. Good luck.
