Default TRD SC Bosch BPV replacements? Will these work?

I had these 110s in my audi biturbo... think these will work? aren't BPVs pretty much all the same?
The one that comes with the TRD kit is embarrassing for the amount of money you throw down. Just pitiful.

But these 110 BPVs rock. I am just trying to brainstorm alternatives for my SC...

thoughts?

This valve was far better in performance but still not completely reliable especially under modified conditions
even if did why replace it ? Il rather change the pipes and add a recir metal bpv

Need to go downstairs and check which one we have.

On the other hand - are all BPVs same? Aren't they supposed to be set to specific PSI? Like 7 in our case?

nm. I got some time today to finally get a closer look... Seems to be a non cpu controlled BPV?

sOOOOOOOOooo does anybody have a better solution?

1st 2nd and some 3rd has some 'boosty feel' after 4000rpm, but otherwise lack luster in performance IMHO.

Does anybody elses SC idle pretty loudly?

Anywho, it is pretty sweet that you can hear a slight hissssssss from the SC and sometimes the BPV. I have only 70 miles on it so far, but feel no difference in acceleration until you hit about 4000rpm you get a slight push. Nothing spectacular like a kick in the butt you would get with turbos.

Mine whines nicely at idle - I have the HC filter delete and K&N drop-in.

Checked the BPV: Bosch part number 0280142102. Retails for $30. Seems to be used on hundreds of OEM and aftermarket boosted applications.

cool. is that HF in the airbox? are you actually getting a gain from this removal?
Do you actually have this BPV upgrade? Anything will be better then the POS that came with the kit....

Hey, any SC guys that could give me a sound clip of your SC at idle I would GREATLY appreciate it . It seems like mine is running a bit rough and loud.

The part number I listed IS what we have now. I'll do a vid clip for you of my idle. The car is in the garage, so it might sound pretty loud.

TurboXS is positioning this BPV as a direct replacement for the Bosch units that are shipped with 1.8T VWs - looks like it will fit our kits, too.

Why not get a GReddy Type-S or Type-RS (<- rocks especially if ran vented)? Can you guys run BOVs without switching to blow through setup?

our car idles like rough also. The supercharger is a little weak on the power end. We removed the bottom of the air box you will notice a gain. Give us about another week and we should have the first batch of CAI avaiable this will help a lot.
