it depends on what you like though. for me its a deep sound. and i dont need it to shatter car windows behind me on idle...

my sisters beetle's magma flow system sounds really nice but at $600+ no thanks...

Anyway, back in on-topic land... okay, TRD isn't bad. But, like any TRD product for our car, it's basically a tame version of whatever else is on the aftermarket.

Personally, I hate the Megan Racing one. It looks stupid, it's crooked, it sounds awful, and it was made by idiots.

The Injen one, however, is straight, sounds quite nice (especially with an Injen SRI), and has a very nice looking taper on it's tip (as opposed to a piece of metal just sort of... ending, like the MR one). Also, it won't break in two years and actually fits exactly like it should, unlike any of Megan Racing's products.

It's called an ANGLED exhaust, i love the look, and it is by far the best sounding exhaust. I have had my Megan Racing exhaust and s pipe with absolutely No problems for over a year now.

and as for the tip just "ending"...its gotta end sooner or later so i dont see ur point there.

And I've received sooo many compliments on my exhaust, sounds WRX-like

Meh. I can call taking a dump "dropping the kids off"; it's still taking a dump. You can call it whatever you want, it still looks like someone couldn't line up an exhaust pipe right. If I went to an exhaust shop and told them to make me a custom exhaust, and it came back pointing to the right, I'd be livid and wondering if they're either drunks or just lazy and can't bend pipe.

And by the tip just "ending", I mean from all the pictures I've seen of the Megan Racing exhaust, the tip doesn't have any rounding or any tapering like the Injen does.

Agreed on both counts. That's why the TRD exhaust is generally unfavorable; it costs more than any other exhaust when it's basically a stock exhaust with a shiny muffler and shinier tip.

Borla all the way!!!! Not ricey, but not tame either! It sound the best out of all that Ive heard, personally I wish they could create an evo sport e60 that the m5 uses, but a I4 wud never produce that AMAZING orgasmic sound!

actually it is a piece of crap and pointless. you get nothing out of the TRD exhausr besides some sound. you are just paying for the name,.

the Borla exhaust is just a re-baged TRD exhaust.

I have the injen and it sounds great. A friend of mine with a tC has an HKS hi-power and liked my exhaust more.

I got megan the rest of the way up and I like it decently.

Correction: The TRD is a re-badged Borla exhaust.

Ive heard a TRD, and it doesnt sound like a borla, the trd is much more of a bit**, borlas much deeper and throatier. I like it cause its not rice sounding, if i were to get another one, itd be the hks, it is also deep in sound, and if you look at the trd n borla set up is diff, so its not just a re-badge.

Dont get greddy, people will here it and think your going 0-60 in 4 sec but really your not, too ricey for me.

Borla did make it. , or better yet, .

And xxnyangel10xx, if you like your TRD so much, then why are you so bothered by people saying it isn't worth the premium price for it? It always confuses me when people zealously defend something and then get offended at the slightest whif of discontent from any living being. It smacks of overcompensation.

Hey some TRD products are good and work well but the TRD exhasut for the tC dont do nothing but make your car louder and make you spend money for nothing except a sound. I do like some TRD products but some are just overpriced for the name sometimes.
