Hey some TRD products are good and work well but the TRD exhasut for the tC dont do nothing but make your car louder and make you spend money for nothing except a sound. I do like some TRD products but some are just overpriced for the name sometimes.
id have to agree with you 100% !! i only got it for sound im not into performance tht much.. just looks. and yes some of there stuff is good. I have trd springs on my car it gave it a clean drop to get rid of that gap and there is TONS of potholes in NY so i didnt want to go too low.

i've got the megan catback and like it. and most aftermarkets are usually cheaper than the TRD (especially if you buy it from the dealership

Yea the TRD drop is nice just i heard to many stories of uneven ones. But those potholes can be hell so i feel ya on that one. The TRD exhaust does sound good i will give ya that.

GQQSE the megan is sweet my buddy has it and ima get it when i get back from deployment. I cant wait.

i love it. sounds good, and its not as loud as other exhausts (which is good cuz of local exhaust laws)

so since you happen to be an engineer can putting a larger than whats needed pipe be better for his n/a? or if you may just post one dyno or actual fact thats been noted about gains on this TRD so we can know for a fact allready

Don't be a douchebag if you want information. for "back pressure" if you want to know about pipe size pros and cons.

The negligible performance gains for all the axle-back exhausts on non-F/I tC's is widely proven, known, and accepted; just because you disagree with us, or you're ignorant to the information that's out there, doesn't make us the retards.

ok new question....I have the RS1 lip kit on with Injen exhaust. I have already melted 2 rear lips. The first one being the day i picked up from shop. I bought a new rear lip and put it on. After a few months passed, I decided I wanted to put my Injen exhaust back on, so I bought hangers and lowered the exhaust. Well while at Hyperfest, the exhaust shifted, and melted another lip. It didnt ruin it, but I'm trying to figure out options. I like the way the Injen exhaust sounds, but don't want to keep melting the rear lip. Should I buy a longer exhaust?

shouldn't you install a heat shield?
i see lots of people with large exhaust with those and no melting.

yeah heat shield would be nice, but can't find one that fits that lip kit. the ones i've seen are for stock bumper or the factory style lip.

I like the Injen.......has a great sound.........but still not too loud.......and looks great.......

Depending on how big a can you want and how loud you want is what ends up being best......my next step is Agency Power cat back.......sounds great......looks great........well made........only downside is it is spendy.......

But of the 3 you listed interest in the Ingen is a nice exhaust.....
counted it...
