So My fiance is buying me an exhaust for my birthday. Last year i had the Megan oe-rs i liked it but it was too quiet. so now im wanting sumthing alittle louder.

Ive heard video clips, seen them on the "post ur exhaust" thread, but now im jus wanting sum input from people that have them and so on. Youtube videos have different sounds and all the exhausts sound good in sum videos and sum dont. any input would be greatly appreciated. i have a megan header, spipe and midpipe. but considering i dont want it to be ridiculously loud ill take off the spipe and midpipe.

If you want something that'll kinda manage the rasp from the header go with either of the Greddy's

 

the greddy evo2 is abit quieter than the rest for just the exhaust alone.

 

Depends on what you like. Loud or clean rumble?

 

even without the s/mid pipe you will still have rasp. it's the header that will cause it.

 

i love my injen ses, it sits really flush with the cut out in the bumper.. and doesn't look like a big fart can. there is a lil drone on the freeway, around town you have a nice lil growl. when you floor it though it can be loud.

 

yeah I know the header will F the sound pretty bad, but I think the spipe will cut the loudness of the exhaust. I guess I jus have to live with the rasp worse comes to worse, ill jus weld on a ne resonator to the midpipe. As far as wat kinda sound I want, I jus want a sound that's nice, nothing loud and ricey like a tsudo or anything of that sort. I heard different video clips and they all sound good, but then there's videos of them sounding like crap. tCcali I saw the injen it look and sounds pretty awesome, I wanted sumthing that's not so doofy looking, I refuse to buy anything that's drift spec jus cause its so ___ lol

 

I'll go with the greddy evo 2..... but you should definitely get a resonator bro... cause your car will scream like a civic..... that's how my car sounded when I had header with my magnaflow catback.

so now im thinkin evo2 or injen, the TIC is still kinda in the picture but im liking the evo2 more

 

i've heard them all in person and for just the back part of the exhaust i think the TIC i louder than the evo2, the injen sounds good but adding headers will make it sound really loud and not to raspy. friend has it with megan headers and it's not too bad on the rasp.

 

I dunno about the sound but the EVO2 looks the best to me

 

Evo 2 with header will sound so bad you will be embarrased to drive the car........it will need major resonator installed........the TIc will be better sounding but it has a lot of drone that passes in tothe cabin.....it is the note tone it gives off just seems to drone everywhere inside.......will dirve you nuts after a while.

Ingen sounds great but never hears one in person with header......

Skunk2.......well that is a loud fricken exhaust and even more loud with header and also will need major resonators to clean up the sound.

 

oh man this header is killing me I wish I had my stock to put on, so its looking like I'm getting an EVO2 it looks the best out of all of them IMO no doofy drift style or titanium tip. jus the header is making me think, wat kinda resonator do u guys think I should run?

 

I like the injen or the evo2. The evo2 sounds horrible with a header from the videos I watched even with a s-pipe. You would defiantly need 1 or 2 resonators. I have heard the aero25 is petty good.

 

fukin sh*t lol this header is ____ing me off. I'm getting the evo2 I'm pretty sure. but I haven't heard any videos of one with a megan header, I wanna hear how badly it is, and I'm thinkin an aero25 resonator

 

for sure if you get this cannister get the vibrant or aeros.......you will need at least 24-36" of total resonators and it should calm it down...it is amazing how bad a header makes an exhaust sound....lol

 

alryte so I've decided on the EVO2 axleback. looks great sounds good etc. But now I want u guys to tell me if this is a good deal. 200 bucks for the one below, no dents scratches jus extremily dirty. is that a good price or no?
