Well for a new one they are running close to 500 so that is a pretty good deal. I would say as long as there are no major dents or scratches on the tip I would go for it. I wouldnt worry about scratches on the actual canister really because you will barely be able to see it.

yeah I've been looking around to see how much they go for and the cheapest I found was like 545$ not including shipping so its not bad, the canister or the tip doesn't have anything wrong with it. canister doesn't bother me for scratches but the tip does but he said its perfect, ill be checking it out before I give him the money ofcourse the only minor thing is jus that its filthy which I will be cleaning and polishing.

Yea the cheapest i saw it for was like 538 shipped but it was from some site I have never heard of. Man I thought the tanabe was an expensive exhaust. I would defiantly go for it then if there is nothing wrong with it.

Get the skunk 2, it is a complete exhaust and it sounds great with a strup header! Also it is the best deal for the money.

Here a link to it showing it in full detail: http://www.fastscions.com/Scion-tC-S...3-08-2270.aspx

Megan header= rasp.

When i was N/A i had a megan header with my magna flow cat back, and it sounded HORRIBLE until my car really warmed up...
but then it was still a little louder then i wanted...

^ tell me about it =/ I've had this for 3 yrs and every day I regret selling my stock header. it sounds like such sh*t especially with our new york winters, and when I had my old megan oe-rs it sounded even worse, it sounds good after like 3500/4000k rpms. but I still hate it. I might try and trade sum1 for a stock header atleast so my new exhaust doesn't sound so horrible. or even try to sell it and buy a MMW/tsudo or an old alphawerks if I can find one.

yea its a very nice exhuast... just be carefulw hen u add a header.. it gets louder and raspier.. but once it warms up it goes away... if u dont like it to loud.. u might have to add a resonator

yeah I have a header on the car currently and have an spipe and midpipe to stock axleback. I jus took off the megan midpipe and the spipe, I'm hoping it won't be too loud even with the removal of the two. but it looks like ill definatly be adding a resonator to kill the rasp, now that its summer the car warming up is quick so hopefully no rasp, during the winter its gonna suck. I don't see any difference from the midpipe, so I'm gonna leave that off, but the spipe I will be installing back on the car. whould I weld a resonator to the stock midpipe or the megan midpipe? not much of a difference at all from 2.13" to 2.25" (if that)
