Tsudo's new exhaust system?
I happen to stumble across this today. I have mixed feelings about it. What do you guys think?
http://www.speed-element.com/servlet...muffler/Detail
-70mm tubing designed for mildly to heavily modified naturally aspirated (N/A), supercharged (S/C), or turbocharged setups
-Flex pipe to reduce stress between header and exhaust system
-Large front resonator with dual rear mufflers to reduce rasp in all applications
-Slanted muffler outlet for stylish and aggressive look.
-Features 70mm / 2.76in piping diameter with a 101mm / 4.0in exhaust tip
-Muffler and piping fully polished to a mirror-like finish
-Produces a deep, aggressive exhaust note
-Tuned piping diameter maximizes power gains
-Improves horsepower, torque, throttle response, and fuel mileage
-Manufactured from T304 / SUS304 stainless steel for durability and high corrosion resistance
-CNC machine mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for maximum exhaust flow
-CNC cut flanges and fully TIG welded construction
-Perforated core muffler design for smooth, unrestricted straight through performance
-Significant weight reduction compared to OEM exhaust system
-Utilizes the factory exhaust hangars
-Includes all necessary hardware (bolts and gaskets) for installation
-Bolt-on installation with typical hand tools
-Includes removable exhaust tip silencer

I kind of like it but then again I don't. I guess it's because I prefer the simplistic OE type design. Then again you can't beat it for the price. Especially if it's as good as they described it.

I dislike it! What is the point of the angled canister if the rest of the exhaust is kinked with bends? The whole idea of the N1 style was the fact that it had minimal bends in the system thus allowing for smoother airflow through the piping. It is now passing through whatever you have for a header, cat, res, muff, and some wacked out bend right before the last muffler. All for the sake of having a deeper exhaust note? F that! I am thinking about just straight piping from the axle back myself. What's the point in dropping $400 on an exhaust that is only going to give you 6-10 hp?

I don't really care for the axle back, but the mid pipe looks good. I have the old one and every time I hit a puddle of water it clanks around and the tone changes dramatically. Sounds like the car is running like poopoo, but the idle is perfect, just a clanky exhaust. the mid pipe hung to high in the hump and hits some of the factory screws not enough to damage it but enough to be annoying, and the hangers are a bit to high on the old one, this looks like they fixed it by angling it down a little bit.
