Turbo or N/A
Hey guys can't decide on which way to go with my tc. I know that turbo is easy way to get big power, but I don't know that many n/a tcs that have big power.I would like to be a little different. I know there is a stoker kit from brain Crower so I believe that 300 should be be possible. Let me know what you think, the best way to go is. Thanks.

okay, 1, you should have searched, 2, since you aren't going to. let me lay it out for you,
n/a equals lots of time, money and work for like 200 whp. n/a builds on the tc aren't done because it is way too much effort for way too little power.
turbos however make redicullous power on the tc's engines easily. bolt-on kits running base maps make 240 whp, and are much cheaper and easier.

you want to be different, the most important is how much is your budget? and getting a good tune.
basic turbo usually get you up to between 260hp and 300hp for around 4 grands and up. you will need insane amount of money to get up to 300 hp NA. Once you go over 200 hp, you will need to upgrade clutch too

Thanks for the info, yeah I know that turbo is the best if you are on a budget and that a turbo can be in one day were stroking it can take a while and also means taking the engine out.

Yeah, I was just thinking about that. I will probably go turbo, cause I was just thinking, even If I had to money to my engine have 300hp on n/a that would be completely maxed out, I could get more on a turbo set up.

300whp N/A car would be rocketship though. It would be so awesome.

Thanks for all the replies it helped a lot. I guess I won't waist any money on headers or anything like that. I think I am going to finish the suspension before I get the turbo. Also I stronger clutch and light weight fly wheel.

That kind of hard to beilve!
BC stroker kit
Bc Cams
a beam rods
high comp pistons
ported head polished exhaust port
Intake manifold
long tube headers
racegas
aem ems
BS removal
lightened crank
good tune
i mean it wouldint be cheap.. but that would have to yeild at least 250-275
