LoL.. that was aweome hahahah

i've had a twm stage II and a B&M.. both were crap in comparison... I got the 2" Reduction+cage bushings.. the thing is hellishly short, precise, and makes my car fun to drive once again!

And with the core swapout (I had an extra core)... the cost was LOW.....

Yes, please do elaborate. I've personally replaced a pair of broken TWM shifters with my own, so I'm naturally curious.

idk how the doc i sts could be "awful"
this was my first time installing a shifter and even i thought it went well for my first time haha
as for the quality of the product..IMO some solid stuff
totally satisfied with mine.

is there a doctor in the house?

I'll be placing an order soon enough, probably for the extreme! woot.

What would be a better drop.

I'm debating between, 2"/2.25"/2.5" these.

Pictures would be great

Well srry i dont feel like reading pages 2-12 but i was wondering if i installed the cage riser bushings right. u take off the stock bushing and u put that riser thing under the cage right? All 4? Well i did that and it really bends the shifter cables since the cage is now higher. To whomever that installed the riser bushings, how was it.? I only installed the riser bushings on the lower 2 spots and left the top 2 OEM bushings in. Since the cage is slightly slanted anyway this made it more even.

anyone have the razo shift ****. just wondering what height you went with. its kinda tall so i wasnt sure if 2.5 would be low enough with the cage bushings. also is it possible to get the extreme but without a shift ****. any info would be great

I've had two TWM's. 1 broke, and 1 I sold. TWM is no comparison to the package you get with Doc I. Shorter, less expensive, you get more (bushings etc..) and the OEM shifter won't BREAK on you driving 80 MPH on the 91 freeway.

DOC FTMFW! Yeah... I just installed my Doc premo SS this weekend, went easy at parts, but it was my mistake of doing it drunk without looking at the online DIY haha, anyways I love it, it was cheap, looks nice, and shifts better, and Doc also sent me a free shift collar b/c of the delay in shipping =] Now if I could only fish out my cage riser that fell in the little evil black hole........

OK. ANYONE INSTALLING THE SS, YOU SHOULD PUT TAPE OVER THAT BLACK HOLE NEAR YOUR CAGE, TRUST ME....

I think a 3" drop is too low, it's going to require force to shift. The 2" drop is a nice height, but at most I'd go 2.5".

By the way, I dropped 4 bushings down that damn hole. Get one of those magnet antennas or a broken antenna or maybe even a piece of wire (hanger wire?) and fish them out of there. It took some time, but it was done. I bet that crap rattles.
