this has been discussed before and someone needs to lock these. if you want a V6 in the tc, you bought the wrong car. if people don't like what they get, that's their own damn fault.

the tc's engine is already heavy enough and far infront of the shock towers....a v6 won't help

well... with enough time, money and work... you can put anything into any car... (i.e. Chris Rado's car.... )

That's a far better swap. People don't seem to realize that the 3RZ or 4RZ is a much better decision.

There is much more involved in that kind of swap. Hondas are much easier to swap engines out than most other cars.

For that kind of swap You'd need to do a lot of fabricating. Push the firewall wwwwaaayyyyy back to help with fitment and balancing issues in the car (Unless an 80/20 ratio is cool with you). change the mounting points.

the 2.4 l 2az-fe Is plenty of motor for the tC. it has been discussed.

People just can't get the "Camry" out of thier minds.

a 2.4l is a big 4 cylinder. And me personally would much rather build up a scion tC. than a v6 Camry in a tC body.

^^ I think it is funny that people seem so stuck on the camry thing... calling the tC a camry, etc... it is ridiculous. some dodge minivans sport the same base engine as the 3000GT, the chevy 5.7 has been used in a million vehicles, etc. It in no way makes the vehicle a camry any more than the minivan is a 3000gt or vice versa. I guess a lot of people think that it is something new to have two cars share the same engine. I think the 2az is a great engine all around. And as you and others point out it has plenty of potential for the tC.
