Default Vibrant Performance Header (CARB Legal)

i was reading the other day super street or one of those mags and there was a letter from a guy with a new civic si that wanted to buy a header that was carb legal. problem was the si is just like the tc with a built in cat in the factory header. come to find out vibrant makes a header that has a cat built in that is legal for the si. now why can't they make one for the tc. i would buy one that was legal in a heartbeat.

maybe if we get enough interest in a carb legal header for our cars then vibrant will make
one for us. what do you guys think?

heres the link to vibrant's website.

im from MD. i dont know how many repair orders i got while i was there for exhaust when i had my hondas. i had to have my silencer in my muffler on the tc so they wouldnt mess with me. MD isnt any better this is 1 reason y i moved to GA u could have a race car set up on your car on the street and not get pulled they will pull your azz if u dont have your lights all the way on in the drizzle and rain

Not so much the police being interested in it, but the EPA has huge fines against it...

Why don't you contact them and tell them that people are interested? Simple as that. Megan Racing's original header came with a cat, thats why when you see it now, it says "NO CAT"...

yea, imma call them and see what they say. i just wanted kind of a ballpark figure of how many ppl would like the idea of a carb legal header. im sure they would like a decent amount of ppl interested in it before they even consider making one. i don't get it tho. the tc IS like the new civic. ppl mod tc's from day one of ownership so why don't they cash in on it and make one without anyone suggesting it?
