Question Vibration when accelerating

Well, it's been a few years since I've posted here, but I'm pretty much stumped...

I've searched for anything and everything relating to vibration and odd rattling, but haven't had any luck.
For a while now, I've noticed an intense 75-90 Hz vibration in the steering wheel/front end when driving, but only between 2750 and 3000 rpm while accelerating through 65-75 mph.

I'm putting this in the Drivetrain and Power section because it only occurs when accelerating. As soon as my foot comes off of the throttle, the vibration goes away!

So far, I've changed out the tires, brakes, and exhaust/exhaust mounts as part of routine maint (and verified proper torques), but the problem continues.

Has anyone else experienced this at any point or know of anything else that should be checked out?

Thanks!

Its a cv avle. You could have a weak engine mount causing it to wear out. You will not see anything wrong, its interal failure

Damn...
Is that something that should have been discovered during routine maintenance? After seeing that my cabin air filter was marked as checked on the invoice, then pulling it out and finding two years worth of pollen, gravel, and garbage from three states, I'm hesitant to trust toyota's "service".

As I stated this.isn't a visual thing. It is an internal failure, unless your tech has superman xray vision glasses it wouldn't have been seen. Now if you gave them the description you gave here and they failed to find it, that's a different story.

It may very well be one of your axles. I had a similar vibration after changing to aftermarket axles.. I returned them and bought OEM and the vibration went away.

Only vibrated during accelleration.

Yup, that pretty much sounds like the problem... Ill have to add that to the laundry list of things to fix.

Thanks, y'all!

Yup, probably the cause of the axle failure you mentioned...
All I need now is time to fix/get someone to fix/replace the axle and boot.

Replaced drivers side shaft and boots in March 2013. No problem since; although I'm getting a weird purring noise from the engine as of recent.

Oh yeah? Well that's good and bad news I suppose. Did you replace the driver side cv axle with an OEM one or aftermarket? Mine vibrates between 15-20mph and I replaced mine with an aftermarket one. My inner CV boot was torn so I just decided to change it out all together.
