Default want less raspy exhaust

With the setup i have, intake, header, s pipe, mid pipe and trd exhaust, it is really raspy and kinda like a fart can which i hate. What should i do to fix this...i was thinkin bout puttin on the stock muffler or gettin a precision muffler cuz i heard those were good with rasp.

Agreed, gabe (stylis) provided me with a nice muffler and it is pretty deep... cant wait to hear it again lol

gabe is from precision muffler, and he does a very good job.

Get a resonator. Magnaflow resonators are popular

I take it by S pipe and mid pipe you mean the stockers correct?..

the precision muffler would prob be your best bet, but you would be giving up some of your top end HP, BUT you would regain back alot of your low end TQ.

to shut that TRD axleback up, your gonna need either a huge single 33 inch long 6 inch body magnaflow resonator, or two 20inch long 4 inch body magnaflow res...you may still have a tid bit of rasp at WOT but you'll get to keep all of your top end HP.

Hmm... i didn't know the PM muffler was constructed out of magnaflow parts...i thought it was its own design...does it use a magnaflow "muffler" or just a magnapack?

We use magnaflow for our designs, they work great and appearance can't be beat. :D

+1 for Gabe! I've been using his exhaust for quite a while now with my Ingen CAI. I still love it since the day I bought it!(Buy the precision muffler)

You could "order" one from either ww.summitracing.com or www.jegs.com" as far as having a muffler shop make you one? i wouldn't recommend it, they would prob sell you a straight through muffler as a resonator.
