thats just prelim. pricing, thats been said a bunch of times. this header does not throw a cel. if you go with AW-400, ZPI spipe-225, 02 Sim- 95, Injen intake- 225, thats about 945 and that will give about the same gains as the WR intake and header. alot of people have had the cel come back on with the 02 sim too. so tahts basically a waste of 100 bucks.

if you were to go with the shorty headers with 02 sim, you are still going to have you check engine light come on.

this is a full race header its not a little shorty. and its also a true 4-2-1 race header. there are 3 collectors... from the 4 primary runners into 2... into 1.

people keep complaining about how much this header costs. real race headers go upwards of 1000, this is just the prototype and will yeild more hp becuase of cleaner welds and mandrel bent piping on the production model. the production will be made of 100% stainless steel. i dont see any other header out there that out performs this one, and does not have the cel come on.

use the antifouler instead of the o2 sim and save $70

alphawerks headers are also $325
alphawerks s-pipes are $150-175
injen is $225

my friend is impressed with the weapon-r intake on the tC... the sound is very nice and it still has a nice roaring sound when you drive somewhere under 25 mph... and he quoted "it sounds more loud then my s2000" <-- he has an AEM intake in it.

he was pretty drunk tho when he said it...

its also a complete system. no mixing and matching header to spipe so you know it will fit perfect 100%. and same thing goes with antifoulers, ppls cel still comes on

so... even if you drive 800 miles... the CEL is not going to appear like the Megan Racing Header? what's the difference that the CEL it is not going to appear...

( do you guys matter the price? cuz when you are going to buy something good and complete for you car... the price should be not problem... save money and buy it later.)

why did you guys choose teh 4-2-1 design over the 4-1 design.


if im wrong correct me but i believe the 4-1 will help our top end with a lil more to the mid range and 4-2-1 is low end and mid range power.

The design used, as said by someone else, should be the best compromise. In fact, since it's a complete race header incorporating the s pipe into the design it should provide all the goodies of both worlds.

OK... It includes the s pipe... but the dyno shows ( and the title...I believe) WR intake and Header?

so...$800 for the intake, header and s-pipe?

the question remains..

willing to spend ~$1000 for intake/header/exhaust and you only get 20hp? or get a turbo setup for ~3500 and get 100+ hp gain.
