Default weapon r intake, bottom end power?

im getting the weapon r short ram intake and im new at the aftermarket scene. Just wondering is a short ram intake better for bottom end power or will i lose more bottom end power and gain more hp and peak rpms. thanks

eh, you won't notice much difference other than another race car sound lol. it helps a lil in the low-midrange i guess. I had one, didn't like it cuz it seemed cheaply thrown together, so i got something else. It does sound good though.

i noticeda little more punch when i nailed it right away with my ebay intake. however if you decide to add more bolt ons like exhaust, s pipe header, ect. it basically takes low end power and sticks it up towards higher rpm's

honestly I never noticed ANY decrease in low end power after I installed my bolt ons....I have only noticed my speedometer rising faster

it always seems to be different answers from everyone lol, some people say all the bolt ons are only noticed in the higher rpm range and hurts the lower and others say the opposite. but thank you anyways. i just order my weapon r short ram yesterday and cant wait to install it, next i wanna get either the agency power catback exhaust or the skunk2 cat back not sure tho.

thanks again

well first, you should get a better intake.. but generally short ram is low end and cai is top end.. with supporting mods like a full exhaust, that's where you'll see the mid to top end power.. but you have to take into conderation your not gaining much power here.. but have fun modding!
