Default Weld on Muffler?

For anyone who has had a weld on muffler w/ exhaust stock pipe.

I never thought that It would ever come to a weld on exhaust but my current financial position has brought me to this point. Sad Face. I have dropped alot of money on my tC w/ CAI, Sway Bar, Lowering springs, Quick shifter, etc.

Will a weld on exhaust give me that Horrible rattle noise that comes from old civics? or give me that High annoying pitch sound? I am currently looking at a OBX muffler.

Yay or Nay on weld on.

For that price of those plus the welding, you could get a tsudo N1 rear section for that price. You can get it from speed-element for 139 shipped

The weldings free courtesy of my brother. Tsudo's are a good buy, but I just think that if I'm gonna go dirt cheap on something might as well be the exhaust as they don't do much other than add noise, unless it's a catback, and if I could get a decent sound out of one of those crappy exhaust.

Anyone have a vid on how those crappy things sound?

lulz tsudo>obx. obx is a ____ brand.

and don't cheap out on exhaust. exhausts free up airflow. if ur gonna go with obx might aswell go on ebay and buy a canister on there for like 20/30 bucks, better design nicer looking etc.

save up dont go cheap with the exhasut..i was about to do the samething but then decided to get the megans drift spec the catback and im glad i did sounds awesome...but its your choice and your car..we can only recommend and give you options....you can get a full custom catback with a custom muffler just dont weld on a muffler to the stock piping not worth it or just get a axle back bolts right on
