I was wondering what kind of grease to use with a twm short shifter. Anyone?

You shouldn't need any. Just use the grease on the stock shifter. This should be more than enough. If not just visit your local auto parts place. most any grease will do. Lithium is a good product.
BTW just use the search feature and you will see about 30 posts regarding this.

I always use new grease on everything rather than trying to re-use old grease. White lithium should be fine.

ONLY use white lithium grease on your shifter. Comes in a blue long tube of it. But you only need a dab. I used it when I installed my short throw and I am so happy I did. Helped out alot in the cold and I would really recommend it.

^ yup. White lithium grease internal and Marine grade white lithium grease for anything external.

I just got generic lithium grease from pep boys, and you always reapply grease when installing new parts JQ

yeah, ace, any parts store, wal-mart, etc will carry white lithium grease.
