How much of reduction is the TRD and how short is it?

why go TRD when there is so many other choices out there in the aftermarket....no offense or anything, but I think the oly worthwhile TRD produt would be the supercharger, haha

Do you happen to know if this shifter will work with an 07? I noticed that their website and ebay ads say 04-06, but I didn't think there was a difference between the 07s shifter.

I contacted them helping some others out and K2 said that they havn't tested it on the 07. What I would say to people wanting to know this is contact the dealer and ask if the shifter has changed any. Or, get the part number for the 06 shifter from TRD and compare it to the part number for the 07 from TRD. if it's the same, you're good to go.

30% reduction and about 250$. Mine from K2 is the same exact design (all in one shaft and housing) for 99$ at their website. www.k2motor.com Search: short shifter

You're only going to pay for the TRD label and the fact that the dealer is selling it to you. That's all.

I don't want a big drop (just a slight or no drop), and shorter shifts, but not super throw reduction. I'm on the lookout as well... but not the TRD shifter. You do get the ****, but subtract the price for that, and you're still over $200. Better deals to be found elsewhere.

I'm think about the CC short shifter, does anyone know if a weighted shift **** from TWN will work with it?

If you bothered looking at the same post you're referring to, you'd notice that isn't the real website.

I think web mislinked the site, could ya fix that for us man?

I got mine Creative Compacts SS in. The car drive likes a dream now. The install was quite a biotch to do. Pulling the plastic ring that holds the metal shifter in the housing had to be the toughest job. You are not going to be able to brute force it out. You have to pry the plastic off by jabbing it with a screwdriver and lifting it up from the back. All in all, this is a good bang for your buck mod. Cant beat $69 bucks.
